As the second step in a structured series, the proposal reinforces efforts to extend VeBetterDAO’s influence. Securing nearly 99.1% approval, the initiative has garnered strong community backing, reflecting broad confidence in the project’s growth strategy.
7.5M B3TR Token Allocation for CEX Listings
According to the proposal, a total of 7.5 million B3TR tokens will be strategically allocated to fund CEX listing fees and boost engagement through exchange-related campaigns. The primary objective is to position B3TR in mid-to-high-tier exchanges, improving accessibility for traders worldwide.
Beyond simple listings, VeBetterDAO plans to launch trading competitions, learn-to-earn programs, and community engagement activities. These incentives are expected to drive trading volume, attract new users, and deepen community participation. VeChain Targets CEX — DEX Liquidity Delays Raise Concerns
In order to ensure effective implementation, the VeChain team will identify the most suitable CEX platforms for listing B3TR while covering additional costs beyond token allocations. The project intends to tailor campaign strategies to suit each exchange’s audience and market trends.
Many community members welcome the expansion, but some express concerns about DEX liquidity. One user questioned the delay, pointing out that B3TR tokens were removed from the treasury but not added to BetterSwap or VeSwap liquidity pools.
“Why is the DEX liquidity not in place yet? We see the B3TR tokens have been taken out of the treasury, but they have not been added to BetterSwap or VeSwap liquidity pools yet. Please add ASAP,” a user commented on the proposal.
Despite this concern, another user highlighted the opportunity in current market conditions, stating, “Best time to do so, CEXes are flooded with meme coins and low utility tokens. Time to shine with an actual token that has some real-world utility.”
Community Overwhelmingly Backs the Proposal
The voting results for this proposal reflect strong community support. Out of 282 wallets that participated, an overwhelming 99.2% (274 votes) approved the move, with only a 0.4% (3 votes) opposition and 0.4% (3 abstentions).
This level of endorsement suggests that VeBetterDAO’s members are eager to see B3TR reach new heights through increased exchange exposure and liquidity. With such strong backing, VeChain is positioned to take significant steps in ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of the ecosystem.
