Solana has announced that its much anticipated second smartphone, Solana Seeker, will be launched in mid-2025. According to the report, users would be able to purchase the phones at $500; meanwhile, more than 145,000 pre-orders have already been secured.

The Solana Seeker
The Solana Seeker is reported to have been built on the success and foundation of the first smartphone, Solana Saga, launched in April 2023, as we reported. Researching its features, we found an interesting connection to the Solana dApp store, which contains several groundbreaking decentralized applications designed by projects on Solana. Coupled with this, the fast-rising interest and preorders are reported to be motivated by the associated airdrops, which worked perfectly for the previous launch.
The name Seeker is reported to be inspired by the relentless effort of individuals seeking new opportunities, including rewards and experiences.
To justify its hype, an earlier introduction highlighted that the phone would have better camera and battery performance, lighter design, and offer an upgraded experience over the first encrypted phone. Additionally, it would have a seed vault wallet for fast transactions and simple account management.
