Shiba Inu: Shibarium to Launch Soon, with Physical Digital Studio Releasing Massive Features for the SHIB Ecosystem

  • SHIB marketing team member has disclosed that Shibarium would be launched on the mainnet soon.
  • However, no date was given for the launch but investors expect this to be soon.

Lucie, an official member of the SHIB marketing team has disclosed that the much-awaiting mainnet launch of the Shiba Inu ecosystem layer 2 network, Shibarium, is closer than expected. Lucie hinted at this in a screenshot containing a comment by Shibarium1, an anonymous Shibarium developer and admin in the official Shibarium Discord channel.

Yes, Let me say a few stuff that I can share without details but more information would be released soon. Physical digital studio, a few things for Shiboshi holders, and licensed something…The most important thing and most frequent question, wen is Shibarium? It is closer than what you expect and we are speeding the time of releasing it since things are going in good direction in testing, etc.

Despite this hint, Shibarium1 did not specify the exact date for the launch. Interestingly, details of the network were provided, which indicates a positive development. It is important to note that Shibarium is specifically designed for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Its main objective is to address the challenges of scalability and high gas fee which have made the Ethereum network less attractive.

The team has also disclosed that any transaction facilitated on the network would lead to the burning of the Shiba Inu token. As part of its plans, BONE would be used as the gas token for facilitating transactions on the blockchain.

Scammers taking advantage of the Shiba Inu project

According to reports, scammers have taken advantage of the Shibarium launch to scam the Shib Army. This strategy includes a fake Twitter account posing as Shiba Inu’s lead developer. One of the accounts announced a fake launch of Shibarium testnet version 2 and introduced a fake giveaway to celebrate the event.

The scammers even went as far as creating a cloned Shibarium website and modifying it to deceive users. Users who visited the site were asked to connect their MetaMask wallet and those who did ended up losing their funds.

Recently, Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama announced that he would no longer follow any Shibarium project.

Well, looks like I won’t be able to follow any other #Shibarium projects as it is falsely being used as some sort of endorsement. FTR, if I mention a project I believe in DYOR. If I despise a project DYOR. If THEY SAY I endorsed/bought the project DYOR. We always DOOR.

Kusama also admitted that the team has received thousands of submissions to the Shibarium intake form. This indicates that the project is well accepted even before its official arrival.

That being said, I’m quite happy with the thousands of submissions to the @Shibariumtech intake form. There are so many amazing projects that will join us on this experimental journey. I expect emails to go out to most #Shibarians today. Have a great weekend and stay tuned.

Shiba Inu has fallen by 3 percent in the last seven days and is currently trading at $0.000008. With a 1.9 percent fall in the last 24 hours, the asset is still 90 percent down from its all-time high of $0.000086.
