- Pixelverse expands from Telegram games to Web3 with Pixelverse Arcade, introducing unified profiles, onchain rewards, and seasonal Battle Pass progression.
- Storychain debuts as the first Arcade title, turning Farcaster posts into collaborative stories minted as NFTs, with $PIXFI tokens and leaderboards driving engagement.
Pixelverse has launched Pixelverse Arcade, its onchain gaming hub on Base and Farcaster. Building on the success of Telegram titles that reached 27 million monthly users, the company is now expanding into a Web3 platform with unified profiles, collectibles, and seasonal rewards.
At its peak, Pixelverse’s Telegram games attracted 27 million monthly active users, tapping into the viral growth of tap-to-earn mechanics. But as the Web3 ecosystem matured, the project began shifting focus toward players looking for permanent digital ownership and integrated onchain rewards.
The new Pixelverse Arcade has transitioned and is now offering a unified player profile across all titles. Progress is tied to a seasonal Battle Pass, where achievements, items, and rewards are recorded onchain, giving users long-term persistence and tradable digital assets.
Storychain Turns Farcaster Posts Into Games, Strengthening Web3 Identity
Storychain launches as Pixelverse Arcade’s first title, which transforms Farcaster posts into collaborative storytelling. Players add short segments to a thread, with each complete story minted on Base as an NFT. Contributors are credited onchain, and participation is incentivized through leaderboards and $PIXFI token rewards.
Pixelverse says Storychain merges social interaction and gaming, with Farcaster serving as the distribution layer and Base providing settlement for rewards and collectibles. The game also ties into Pixelverse’s partnerships with meme-native Base communities such as Toshi, Ski Mask Dog, Mr. Mingles, and Brett.
By embedding gameplay and rewards directly into social and onchain networks, Pixelverse aims to build a sustainable ecosystem beyond Telegram virality. The $PIXFI token, also deployed on Base, will underpin gameplay incentives, marketplace trading, and community engagement.
Kori Leon, co-founder of Pixelverse, describes it as the first of a new wave of games uniquely suited to open networks, saying:
“Storychain takes everyday conversation and turns it into both a game and an onchain asset,”
Founded in 2024, Pixelverse is supported by investors including Delphi Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Merit Circle, and the Gate.io Meme Fund. Its Telegram games previously reached more than 50 million players, providing a large funnel for its ongoing transition to Web3-native gaming. With Pixelverse Arcade, the platform aims to merge gaming, collectibles, and social interaction.
