- Chainlink Data Streams now bring live pricing for U.S. stocks and ETFs to 37 different blockchains.
- It also includes helpful tools like tracking market hours and spotting stale prices to keep trading safer.
Chainlink Data Streams are now available for U.S. equities and ETFs. The newly launched update provides live pricing and market details to blockchain apps. As detailed, this opens up new ways to trade, lend, and build financial tools using real-world data.
Chainlink Data Streams Now Power U.S. Stock Information Onchain
According to an official report, Chainlink Data Streams are now live, bringing real-time stock data for U.S. equities and ETFs to blockchain platforms.
This new rollout comes alongside other recent updates from the firm. For context, CNF reported in a recent news brief that Chainlink added eight new integrations across 11 blockchains, including Solana, Plume, and Hyperliquid.

According to the release, this new update allows developers to use stock prices and related information directly in their on-chain applications. Assets covered include popular names such as AAPL, MSFT, QQQ, SPY, and NVDA.
The data streams give more than just price updates. They include details like whether a market is open, how recent the data is, and alerts for trading halts or exchange closures. DeFi platforms like GMX, Kamino, and GMX-Solana are already using these features.
Before this, most on-chain tools only had access to simple price points, often without proper context. That made it hard to build safe and accurate products involving real-world stocks. Chainlink Data Streams now fill that gap, helping developers create systems that can react to changes in real time.
As mentioned in our earlier blog post, Chainlink has helped power a related solution at Turkey’s Misyon Bank.
Chainlink gathers its data from sources like Finalto, Tiingo, and Finnhub. It then sends that information through a secure network of oracles before making it available on-chain. This helps keep the data accurate and up to date. Each piece of data is also time-stamped, which lets smart contracts tell if the price is fresh or outdated.
Improved Tools for Building With Tokenized U.S. Stocks
The new Chainlink Data Streams make it easier to create tokenized financial products that involve U.S. stocks. This coincides with a new partnership the protocol has inked lately. As noted earlier, Chainlink has teamed up with Plexos Institute and EDinheiro to bring tokenized social currencies to communities in Brazil.
More importantly, with more context and better timing, developers can now build things like lending platforms, synthetic ETFs, and trading tools that are linked to real stock prices.
Also, key features include trading hour awareness, stale data warnings, and the ability to stop trades during emergencies. These are all important for anyone trying to create serious financial tools on blockchain networks.
The launch is happening at a time when tokenized real-world assets are growing fast. Many expect the market to reach $30 trillion by 2030. Chainlink Data Streams brings the kind of tools needed to support that growth, especially as more traditional finance groups look to join the blockchain space.
Meanwhile, as mentioned in our previous article, on August 1, Chainlink rolled out State Pricing. Basically, this is a new way to price assets that trade across both DEXs and CEXs. This is proof of how dynamic the Chainlink solution is in powering multiple consumer systems.
