One of the noteworthy achievements was the demonstration of the UniMe platform, showcasing innovative solutions for Lifelong Learning with badging and SSI (Self-Sovereign Identity). The platform’s success was further underscored at the @SURF_NL education days, where Impierce Technologies received positive feedback and expressions of interest from various stakeholders keen to participate in the project or adopt UniMe.
Amidst the growing interest and demand, Impierce Technologies has postponed the integration of the IOTA Stardust update into UniMe until early next year. This delay, a testament to the project’s popularity, is seen as a high-priority move to align with the imminent real adoption of these innovative educational solutions in the Netherlands. The company anticipates an enthusiastic response and widespread adoption in the coming months.
Last month in October 2023, IOTA unveiled its much-awaited Stardust upgrade thereby introducing new innovations to the IOTA network. The Stardust protocol upgrade marks a significant transformation of the Shimmer and subsequent IOTA base layer (L1), introducing multi-asset ledgers. This enhancement empowers individuals to effortlessly create their own tokens or NFTs directly on the L1. Additionally, Stardust facilitates the seamless interaction of Layer 2 smart contract chains with the L1, effectively converting the base layer into a trustless bridge connecting L2 smart contract networks.
