    • Author Saifedean Ammous has now been appointed as the Economic Advisor to the Nation Bitcoin Office of El Salvador.

    According to new reports, El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele is strengthening the country’s commitment to Bitcoin with its latest move.

    The national Bitcoin office of El Salvador has revealed that Bitcoin author Saifedean Ammous recently visited the country. The office remarked that meeting with Nayib Bukele was certain to spur new developments.

    According to recent tweets made by the office, Author Saifedean has now been appointed as the new Economic Advisor of the Nation Bitcoin Office of El Salvador. The tweet read:

    When the author of the Bitcoin Standard met the leader of Bitcoin Country, great things were bound to happen.
    We are excited to announce that Saifedean Ammous
    is joining us as Economic Advisor to the National Bitcoin Office of El Salvador. Welcome to the winning team, Dr Ammous!

    The purpose of the Author’s trip was centered around Bitcoin, as the author taught students of the inaugural cuboplus program. The author would later meet with the Pro-Bitcoin President Nayib Bukele and converse about economic freedom.

    Dr Ammous recently traveled to El Salvador to lecture students of the inaugural cuboplus, the prestigious Bitcoin & Lightning devs program. Afterwards, saifedean met with President nayibbukele & shared his thoughts on the remarkable benefits of the policy of economic liberty.

    The Bitcoin Author intends to do his job without pay

    Saifedean Ammous is one of the most influential figures in the crypto market. Ammous is a best-selling economist and author, mostly known for his book The Bitcoin Standard The Decentralized Alternative to Central Banking. Not only did the book become a best-seller, but the author has also continued to thrive in his career, as he has gone on to publish numerous crypto and fiat-centered books.

    The cryptocurrency community in El Salvador is extremely excited about the new development and has gone on to reveal that Ammous will in fact make a great addition to President Bukele’s Bitcoin team.

    The team is currently made up of Max Keiser, a venture capitalist at Heisenberg Capital and co-host of the Max & Stacy Report, and Stacy Herbert, an OG Bitcoiner and partner to Keiser. The new member will take part in advising on matters related to various economic policies.

    The author also seems to have no interest in receiving payment from the country in his new role. It was stated that Dr Ammous has declined any remuneration for the role. The Bitcoin proponent is said to only be interested in

    “supporting President Bukele’s bold policy of economic liberty and bitcoin And, of course, in joining the only winning team.”
